Salon 123 was established in 2013 but has been a hair and beauty salon previous to this for over 20 years. Sally took it over in 2015 and we have built a friendly team to appeal to a diverse variety of clients. We are welcoming to all and clients feed back to us that they feel very comfortable and have a relaxing experience. Our team are experienced in all aspects of cutting and colour services and our beauty therapists are always happy to give advice on skin and nail care. We only use good quality products from the best brands and are environmentally friendly too.

Sally
Owner/Senior Hair Stylist
How would we manage without Sally?! Co-owning the salon with her husband Philip, Sally
embarked on a new career as a hairdresser in her 40s, transitioning from a background in
accountancy. The diversity of her role, which involves running a business, practicing
hairdressing, and continuously meeting new people, brings her immense joy. As a committed
vegan, she specializes in natural hair products and takes pride in featuring the
ammonia-free range from Colourherbe. Sally dedicates her time to the salon from Monday to
Thursday and every other Saturday.
Emma Louise
Director
Introducing Emma Louise, our new Director Stylist with an impressive 33 years of salon
experience and a wealth of expertise in the hair and beauty industry. With an incredible
journey spanning two decades of teaching and mentoring, Emma Louise brings a unique blend of
skill and passion to our team. Not only has she successfully managed her own salon, but Emma
Louise is also a sought-after specialist in hair systems for individuals experiencing hair
loss. Beyond the salon, Emma Louise has left her mark on the world of entertainment, working
on film sets to create stunning and impactful looks. Her dedication to the craft, coupled
with her artistic flair, makes her a standout addition to our team. Get ready to experience
a new level of style and innovation under Emma Louise’s guidance as she leads our salon to

Lyndsey
Senior Hair Stylist
Behold our enchanting curly hair maestro, Lyndsey who gracefully rejoined our team after a
hiatus from studying. Balancing her role with the demanding responsibilities of full-time
motherhood to three children, she navigates both worlds effortlessly, and we consider
ourselves incredibly fortunate to have her with us. A true creative spirit, she is deeply
passionate about her work, her clients, and the industry as a whole. You can find her
showcasing her talents in the salon every day from Monday to Saturday.
Christie
Senior Stylist
Meet Christie, our resident expert in perms! If you're looking for the best perm
experience, look no further. Christie not only excels at creating beautiful curls but is
also a genuine people person, establishing great connections with clients of all ages. Her
exceptional attentiveness and caring nature often earn her praise. Joining our team in
August 2022, Christie brings with her a wealth of experience, having trained in a large
salon and more recently served as the in-house stylist at a local care home. She temporarily
stepped away from salon work to raise her two delightful daughters, and now that they are in
school, she has joyfully returned to her passion for hairdressing. You can find Christie in
the salon on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
Ryan
Supported Graduate Stylist
Let's talk about the wonderful Ryan! After completing his schooling, Ryan pursued a degree
in marketing at Chichester University. During his university years, he served as the LGBQ+
Student Officer, showcasing his knack for ensuring clients from liberation groups feel
warmly welcomed in the salon, aligning seamlessly with our ethos of inclusivity for all.
Although his primary role is in the railways, where he oversees on-board train services,
Ryan decided to explore his second passion, hairdressing, after trains. In 2023, he obtained
his qualification and sought to broaden his experience by joining our team. Ryan has
seamlessly integrated into our crew and gained popularity among our clients. His fervor for
vibrant colors aligns with his love for the Elumen range that we proudly stock. While his
primary work is on the railways, you can find Ryan with us on his days off, typically on
Saturdays, but occasionally on weekdays too!
Becky
Supported Graduate Stylist
In October 2023, Becky became a valued member of the Salon 123 team. Juggling salon
responsibilities is a breeze for Becky, a mother of five, who handles the bustling salon
life with ease. Despite taking a break from her training after leaving school to raise her
wonderful family, Becky made a triumphant return to hairdressing in 2022. Clients adore
Becky for her organized approach and empathetic demeanor. A fantastic team player and a
testament to her training, she consistently embraces new challenges with enthusiasm. You can
catch Becky showcasing her talents at the salon every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday.
Olivia
Beauty Therapist
Bow down to the maestro of skin transformations! Olivia, our Level 3 Beauty Therapist, has
graced our establishment since December 2016. With expertise in Skinbase Microdermabrasion
Facials and completed Dermalogica Skincare training, she has become a true authority in her
field. Olivia has cultivated a devoted client base, known for her generosity in sharing
advice and knowledge. Catch Olivia at the salon on Mondays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Friday
mornings.
Lanna
Graduate Beauty Therapist
We are thrilled to welcome Lanna Purcell, our new graduate beauty therapist,
to Salon 123. Lanna brings a fresh perspective and the latest
techniques from her recent studies, combining them with a passion for enhancing natural
beauty and well-being. She excels in a wide range of services including skincare, brow
and lash work and therapeutic treatments. Known for her meticulous attention to detail
and warm, personable approach, Lanna is dedicated to providing exceptional service and

Anne
Volunteer
Anne is our amazing volunteer in the salon. Known as “the lady with the pink hair” Anne is
covering Abi’s maternity leave on a voluntary basis having been a nail technician when she
lived in
the States. We first met Anne when she became a client in 2021 so she has been a familiar
face in
the salon for some time, along with her little dog Daisy. Since helping us out we have found
Anne to be very caring and supportive, not only as an amazing manicurist/pedicurist, but
also with keeping our busy salon organized, neat and tidy!
